Monthly Archives: June 2011Cassi and Paul are simply some of the most adorable couples I’ve ever met and their love for one another shines as bright as the sun. Their beautiful wedding was held at L’ambroisie restaurant at Chateau Ambroise. I truly enjoyed covering this wedding and I wish them both a fantastic future together. Being the portrait photographer that I am, the focus of my photos is not on the cars. When I am out there, I tend to pay most of my attention on the people who are out there celebrating this yearly extravaganza that is the Grandprix! Here are some of the most interesting people I met last night in the streets of Montreal:
I spent the afternoon with Elaine and Charles at the Old Port photographing them as they interacted with one another during their engagement session. Now Elaine is no ordinary person at all. She is in fact a 2010 wheelchair basketball world championship bronze medal holder. She even won a gold metal in the 2010 BT Paralympics World Cup in Manchester, UK. She enjoys scuba diving and has even gone to the peek of Kala Patter at the mouth of Mt. Everest. Frankly I was a little intimidated when I found out about her accomplishments, but her bubbly personality and joy for life puts everyone around her at ease. Jennifer and Billy were the winners of my secret 300th facebook page like where they won a 2 hour photo session with me. We had a blast during that session and the fun continued on their wedding day. Theirs was the 2nd Greek wedding this year and also happened to take place at the same St- Georges Cathedral. They had a huge bridal party, 18 in total, and the groom even had two best men. So I think this qualifies it to be a big fat Greek wedding. 🙂 Here are some of those photos from their special day:
