Being the portrait photographer that I am, the focus of my photos is not on the cars. When I am out there, I tend to pay most of my attention on the people who are out there celebrating this yearly extravaganza that is the Grandprix! I was flattered when this beautiful young lady contacted me and asked me to do a fashion shoot together. I was blown away by her elegance and natural beauty and how she handled herself in front of the camera.

I was hired last weekend by Dalya’s dad to put together a fashion oriented shoot for her and her friends on her 14th birthday. What an amazing idea for a birthday present!!

These are some photos from a fashion shoot I did with Loreanne, an up and coming actress in the soon to be released Quebec movie titled Dreamoon. I still can’t believe she is only 14 years old!

Hello everyone! As some of you already know, I’ve just returned from spending an amazing time at this 4 and half beach resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic: Gran Bahia Principe.

Aside from all the great weather and the fun times spent with my wife and kids, I took advantage of being there to capture some destination style photography. I think I went totally nuts with my camera as you can see and I now need a little vacation from my vacation.

I did what I love doing the most which is photographing people in love, except this time it wasn’t at the streets of Montreal, it was at the beach, baby!

Every day I went out for a couple of hours at dawn and right before sunset walking back and forth on this most amazing white fine sandy beach, asking cute couples to pose for me. Mostly I got “no-thank-you” and some “are-you-crazy” responses, but a few couples and some singles who could tell how passionate I am about photography agreed to let me take their photos which I am glad to be able to share with you here.

I saw Kris and Eduardo on the beach each morning at sunrise and I offered to do a romantic session with them before I left. I am very happy with how their photos turned out.

And finally, this beautiful couple from Montreal Canada, Jimmy and Slavia, who I bumped into on several occasions on the beach. Two words can best describe this couple; SEXY and FUN.

So last night the Montreal Canadiens did it — they forced a decisive Game 7 against a formidable opponent, the Pittsburg Penguins. Jerry and I hit the streets of Montreal to capture the thousands of fans that were out celebrating this victory.

One thing was for sure, the people of Montreal were going crazy with joy! Here are some of the photos capturing all the madness:

As you know by now, I am not shooting weddings exclusively. I am one of those photographers who has a really hard time putting the camera down. While not shooting weddings, I am doing a variety of other jobs from house renovation photography, to private family portrait sessions.

Parents can now get unforgettable photos done professionally for a fraction of the cost that other photo studios in Montreal charge, while their kids have a blast at Kazoom, an indoors playground in the West Island. I had loads of fun doing this photo shoot and I look forward to many more enjoyable sessions there. Here are some of those incredible  shots:

And now for something not so wedding related:

Every once in a while I hit the streets of Montreal and I try to capture the people that make this city special. It is about 10 degrees in the evenings these days but you wouldn’t know it from the number of people out and about, behaving like it’s summer already. In fact as you will see in the following photos, some people were not just acting like it, but they were even dressed like it too. This is my friend Glen from glenpepin.com who joined me on this rather impromptu photo shoot. He is sporting a 580EXII on a stick along with his good old 5D.
